On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to Spangdahlem Middle School. Our school has a proud history of academic excellence and co-curricular accomplishments. We hope the school year is enjoyable and educationally profitable. We look forward to assisting in fulfilling student educational goals. Our expectations are for each student to meet the goals, which have been set, to carry on the "Bulldog" tradition and to make this a better school because of their presence. to help students develop their interest and abilities. A wide range of programs is offered to expand the students' physical, cultural and intellectual development. We also realize the importance of developing in each student an attitude of self-respect and self-worth. Communication between the home and the school is very important to ensure maximum benefit in your child's educational experience. We encourage you to visit the school often. We hope you will become involved in your child's education through such programs as the PTSA, SAC, Mentoring Program and School Improvement Team, as well as, volunteering at school. Parental support is vital. At Spangdahlem MS we have an open door policy. If you have any concerns about anything at school, please feel free to come in and discuss those concerns with us. The partnership between home and school guarantees success for all students. We sincerely believe that all students can shine in a student centered learning environment when we all work together.
